Blockbusters was founded in 1994 and was a busy and highly successful business. It expanded in 2004 due to the new management and hence, Blockbusters Environmental Services Ltd was formed.

Company directors Mr Brian Smyth and Mr Eugene McQuillan are jointly responsible for the management of company site operations. The company have also employed Mr Pat Knipe and Mr Tony Creaney who between them share 40 years experience within the field of waste management, with Mr Knipe having vast experience in the Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste business.
